Lutheran, I don’t appreciate your denial of the Gospel. You have your way of defining it, I have mine. Only my way is the correct one.

LOL
Because of what - because you say so?

So you know better than theologians who’ve spent entire lives diving into the structure, vocabulary, phrasing, etc, of the Gospel?

(and no - that was not referring to myself…)

I do not deny the Gospel. It is you who do that, by taking passages wildly out of context.

I feel like I’m casting pearls before swine here…

Wrong - you go by your own unlearned interpretation of the Gospels. Just like the “KJV only”-crew does…
You can beat this with a dead horse, so I refuse to discuss this any further. You are a Lutheran…remember…

Coward’s response. “You have me backed into a corner, so instead of admitting that I was wrong, I’m not going to talk about it anymore, and pretend that I’m right after all”…

Furthermore: Since you in #12 of the “I am tired of knocks of the Catholic church”-thread called using that term a “sin”, I said that I would start using another one, and now’s a good as time as any:
I’m an Evangelical Catholic.

Happy now? 👍

In the name of Allah , Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Salaam/peace

I read that it’s because of pressure from Jewish groups , Chrurches don’t say anymore that Jews killed Jesus (p) . Is that correct ?

Lutheran, BTW, I watched a program called “The Journey Home” last night and lo and behold, there was a Lutheran minister who converted to the Catholic faith and you should of heard his story. He feels now his eyes were opened and that he belongs finally with Christ. Maybe you’ll get that same feeling huh? 😃
