They (PC people) bend over back wards for everyone else but the Jew or Christian.
No - they bend over backwards for the Jews, too. If they don’t, they might be labeled anti-Semitic.

It’s only cool to bash Christianity - or at least that seems to be that particular logic of the many messed up fallacies of the baby boomer generation and the idiots they are raising as their progeny.

I once saw a T-shirt to the effect of, “Yesterday’s flower child = today’s blooming idiot.” Every time I see something like this - I think to myself just how accurate that t-shirt is.

When a muslim prays to God, that is a good thing. It honors God. I don’t understand why people are so offended by this.

Those muslim kids praying 5 times a day are a good example to the catholic kids at that school. How many of them pray 5 times a day?
Well - grace before meals (3 times) and morning and night prayers (2 more) - that should equal five. If they don’t even do that much, then I have to wonder where else are their parents failing in their baptismal promises to raise their children in the faith they said they would raise them in?

Also - the Catholic schools around here at least used to pray either the Our Father or Hail Mary at the end of each lesson, and I know of several states where, at least back in the late 1980s and early 1990s, this was also the case. Do they no longer do that?

I disagree with this. I think accepting students of all faiths is a fantastic way to minister to those of other faiths through displaying the truth and beauty of the Catholic faith. I know people on here like to rip on the best place on Earth (😃 , see my username), but the University of Notre Dame is a perfect example.

When I went there for my prospective student tour (no, I sadly did not get accepted), it was given by a convert to the Catholic faith, who converted solely because of her time at the university. There’s a chapel in every dorm with a Sunday night mass (attendance is apparently very high), and Mass in the Basilica in the morning is also quite crowded. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a more spiritual place.

I also don’t see the point of requiring daily Mass attendance. It isn’t a requirement of the Church that you go to Mass every day.
I agree with you that I don’t think the student body should be limited to just Catholics, but I do think the non-Catholics should be told up front that it is a Catholic school and it will not compromise on its Catholic principles.

After seeing some of the heresies coming out of schools like Notre Dame and Georgetown, however, I’m not so sure I would hold them up as a shining example of Catholicism at its finest. Still - it is somewhat comforting to know that mass attendance is fairly high. I’m just not sure I trust their sincerity with regards to Catholic orthodoxy.
