Personally, I would think it would be wrong to kick someone out of a rally because of the clothes they wore. That is true whether I agreed with them or not.
Sure, that didn’t happen at the Trump rally.

You were the one complaining about the clothes she wore.
Please do not make such a projection. I gave the facts of the story, I was not complaining.

Actually, what puzzles me in the above outlook, is if she was not wearing clothes to identify herself as a Muslim, and it was just some ordinary Joe that stood up, how would such a person be identified as a protester?

What are you trying to say in your last line? “own Church who frequently wear headscarves regardless of faith, should have them”.

I would not want to read between the lines and think you were declaring headscarves for women is a should. Women in America wear scarves, hats, shoes, coats, dresses, and pants among other items. Nobody gets to say “should” for any of it.

Being old enough to know the reasoning behind wearing a scarf or hat, that it was out of respect that showed awareness of being in the presence of the Holy Eucharist, it is a fine custom to keep. I was needling you about possible chastisement of women. 😃

He is attracting record crowds even in Massachusetts and New Hampshire so when one says derisive things about him, this reflects on those who go to these events as well.

Oh, but hair and oreos and a circus is what we are talking about.
And yet when I’ve watched rallies on C-span, his crowds seem to eat it up when he rambles on about his preference of hairsprays and about not eating Oreos and whatnot.

What relevance does the clothes she was wearing have on this case?

What irrelevance do the clothes have? This is being argumentative. I doubt if she had just been dressed in other attire and not saying to everyone “I’m a Muslim” this would have happened.

This is baffling, she was not ejected for merely standing up.

She ought to bring her silent protest to the mosques to make the muslim leaders be more pro-active about stopping islamic radicalization.

So, what rules did the donald lay out for clothes at his events?

If she were a Catholic nun doing this at a Hillary Clinton rally, I wonder if so many would be coming to her defense.
Well, apples to apples- I would. If the nun (or sister) were simply standing silently then I would certainly be critical of an attempt to escort her from a campaign event.

Mr. Trump did not make any rule regarding clothing. The Muslim woman chose to stand in her attire that proclaimed she was Muslim - the attire was acceptable, the mock yellow star for the persecuted Jews by the Nazis was not. At a large rally for a political candidate where folks wish to hear what he has to say because the majority share similar views, is not a good place to be impolite and stand in front and next to people seated. It is expected that a person would take a seat and not cause disruption or distraction and not interfere with other’s ability to see and hear.

Because of the horrific terrorist attacks and the liklihood that terrorists are pretending to be peaceful until they attack, the populous is alarmed and edgy. It appears that our everyday life is going to be more vigilant and guarded for some time. If people think they are being confused with terrorists, they had better mount a campaign to prove otherwise and not go provoking. The escorted exit she received was necessary and appropriate.

Thank you; that pretty much answers everything.

I just watched the video and the protestors comments about the incident.

She seems like a lovely lady. The crowd came across as aggressive and not-so-sophisticated.

Trump panders to the lowest common denominator. The aggressive reaction was not surprising.

She stood up; she had her cultural clothes there, I would say she was trying to call attention to herself. Can I go to the latest blockbuster movie and it is okay if someone stands in front of me the whole movie?
She gave an interview to CNN before the event began, It was all planned.

The Event rules are you can protest outside but not inside during the event. When she was confronted, she asked to be ejected.
