why thank you! I am at home forever! a feeling of being TRULY PRESENT with the True Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.

allelujah. no wonder Jesus spent more time on the doctrine of the Eucharist than anything else in the NT!

I don’t know why I should say this here, or even whether it is apt, but the Eucharist thing is an absolute BIGGIE!

I was in St Francis cathedral in New York last year and when it was time for Communion, the WHOLE back row burst into audible, sobbing, crying! I was 3 rows from the back so I turned to see a row of girls and women, various races, all crying! They didn’t go up to receive Communion and they remained after church for longer than the 20mins that I sat there ‘with them’ (amongst others also, of course) They just wept and wept in each other’s arms througout! I deduced that they were ‘working girls’ from their dress and wears, and I felt sooooo humbly privileged to have been among them. They showed me the LOVE and DEVOTION for Our Lord that I take for granted!

I went back to my hotel room and wept in shame.

I wished I could have gathered them all into one huge group hug.
