My Biopsy

****Brothers and sisters, I am having a biopsy either this week or the next. The lymph nodes are swollen throughout my body. The doctors are thinking lymphoma. I currently have mononucleosis, but they are concerned that it goes beyond that. I most certainly appreciate any and all prayers. Thank you and may God richly bless all of you.
 
May Christ and the Virgin be with you most especially in this time of worry and bodily suffering; may they fill you with joy and peace, give you strength, and if it is God’s will restore you to bodily health. May they watch over your family and friends and bring them comfort and help as well as they minister to you. May they aid your doctors in diagnosis and treatment, and may you have a true healing of all ills.

Tantum ergo, the phoenix, Tonks40, Simon X, pyropam, Katie 1723, Baptista, Gigglin4God, Indyann and 244Rocket, I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. Tomorrow I undergo a lung function test, to make sure I can survive the anesthesia! It is the last test before the biopsy, which is simple, save for the anesthesia. You all are great support in a time when health, which we all take for granted, is affected.

Christ’s peace and blessings be with all of you.
 
I will say a rosary for you today and tomorrow during that test. Please let us know how things are going. May God be with you!
 
Today I am going for the last test prior to the biopsy. They must be assured that I will survive the anesthesia! Good grief!

I will pray for your intentions. St.Jude please watch over Po18Boy so that every test that needs to be done will be okay if it is God’s will.

I am leaving within the hour to have a lymph node removed from my neck for biopsy. I have just returned from the Sacrament of Anointing and the Blessed Sacrament at church. It is indeed a comfort, and the support of my brothers and sisters in Christ is no small thing!
