Lord please hear our continued prayers for Tony and for Bernice and all the family.We thankyou Lord that Tony is continuing to have such courage and improvement.We thankyou for granting strength to Bernice. When Tony comes home he and Bernice face a difficult future and I ask You would grant them both the graces necessary to live as independent and happy life as possible.Thankyou Lord for the wonderful example this entire family give to us all and I ask You to bless each one of them.Thankyou Lord for hearing our prayers Amen

Loving God,

We lift our prayers and intentions for Tony today, and we ask for your blessings and mercy for Tony and his family during the time of great challenge in their lives. Lord, it is hard to understand why very difficult things happen to good people in this life, but we ask for your grace and trust in your divine providence as we pray and hope for the best possible outcome, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Please grant Tony the gift of finding the best path forward in his life in whatever manner you desire, be it through healing or as a witness to others in his current state. Please strengthen and grant courage to Bernice and the family members as they minister to Tony and pray for him. Please help all involved to stay positive and hopeful as they continue their journeys of faith.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Thank you for your prayers dear friends. When speaking to Tony in his wheelchair via Skype in his hospital room I was confronted by his cheerful smile and good humor as usual for Tony, and he introduced me to the nurses floating in and out of his room. He was giving a demonstration to newer spinal patients of how to transfer from bed to wheelchair, and wheelchair to car, but I imagine that the greatest demonstration that he gave was his good humor and smile, and perhaps, being him, some joking remarks.

Tony asked me to thank you all again for your prayers for him…and to that, and to the intercession of St Mary MacKillop, he attributes the progress he has made, which in some ways is contrary to the doctors’ initial beliefs.

We thank You Lord for the continuing blessing of Tony’s good humor and optimism, and the strength and love of Bernice throughout the past several months since Tony’s accident. That in itself is a great witness to Your Spirit manifest in them. We thank You also for the progress Tony has made in these past months.
