My brother finally confessed to me today that he has been living in sin with another man for the past 4 years. I have known all along, but I knew it was up to him to tell me. I have been praying diligently for him, and I am so thankful that he finally put it out in the open.
He told me he knows it is wrong, he wants to leave his partner, and he knows this relationships is holding him back from living a good Christian life (his lifestyle also has him drinking and smoking pot - something he had given up for a long time!). I want to help him, but I don’t know what the best advice is to give him. He isn’t Catholic, so I can’t recommend the sacraments to help him have the strength to do the right thing. Has anyone else dealth with this and have some advice to offer?
Thanks and God Bless!
