If mass is virtual, where will the Eucharist come from? I assume father will be in a separate location. How will he teleport the hosts to each classroom?
It was also a legal term, and still exists, I believe, in some states, although there is a modern trend to remove it.“Moron” was a medical term?!? You’re a living encyclopedia, @dochawk (and that’s meant as a compliment).
I would rephrase that to “For some who want it, it is available.” Because it is far from available to anyone who want it. I don’t think there is a single EF Mass celebrated in my province. I have to drive 1500 km to another province to find one…if I’m lucky.I cringe every time I see “NO Mass”. There is no such thing. Most Catholics attend the"Ordinary Form" which is exactly why it is “Ordinary”. It is the Mass that the church, around the world, celebrates. The TLM or EF is not the “Ordinary” and never will be. For those who want it, it is available.
You have to have priests who are both willing to celebrate it and trained, or willing to be trained, to do so. Not to mention you need parishes willing to spend the money for the necessary furnishings unless those that want it are willing to spring for them. That tells me then that there are not enough people who want it.
If the EF is truly desired by a stable group, and there is a priest or priests willing, the request should not be denied.
