My cousin has AIDS

I went to a bday party on Sunday, and my sister told me one of our cousins has AIDS. He’s gay and has lived his life as such with partners and all. Sadly, he was diagnosed with AIDS 😦 Please pray for him and his family. His dad is too ashamed and is is hiding from the family so no one asks how my cousin David is doing, so all we know is that he has it and nothing else.
 
Hello. I recently had a cousin die of AIDS. She was an IV drug user and had problems with drugs for most of her life. She contracted HIV some years back and passed away. It is very sad to see people suffer, particularly when you are close to them. She was only three years older than me. She may have lived longer had she been able to find freedom from drugs and a destructive lifestyle.

I will pray for your cousin and your family.
 
Praying for your cousin - especially to Sts Peregrine, Therese of Lisieux and Aloysius Gonzaga, patron saints of AIDS patients.

Stay hopeful - there are patients out there now who, with good treatment and taking care of themselves and their health, have gone 20 or 25 years without developing HIV. The outlook for people such as your cousin is much better now than ever before.
 
Lily, he already developed AIDS, he’s way past the HIV, so there is no hope for him 😦
 
Wow, I am really really sorry to hear that. He will definitely be in my prayers, as AIDS is (IMHO) one of the most painful ways to die. I am very, very sorry that he, you, and your family have to go through this.

I will pray . Ironically, I too, had a cousin David and he too was gay, had AIDS and has passed away many years ago.

a special angel to David. Grant
him the ability to see you in your
goodness and accept you fully in his
life. Allow him to use his experience
and this disease process to help others
avoid the risk of developing AIDS.
