His hope lies where true hope is: in Christ.

I pray your cousin uses the time he has left to turn to God. If he is (or was formerly) Catholic, I pray your cousin receives the Sacraments of Annointing of the Sick and Confession before he dies. May God bless your cousin and your family richly and bring spiritual healing to all.

Remember oh most gracious virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to you, implored your help or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence I fly unto thee oh virgin of virgins, my mother. To thee we come, before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful. Oh mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petition but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen
