I would agree with Lego, there is no such thing as “non-denominational”. To be truly non denominational an ecclesial body would have to have no doctrine, no dogma.I would expect anyone who is Catholic to agree with you; those who are not Catholic might not agree with you.
When you examine the groups calling themselves “non-denominational” you will find doctrine in spades. Usually Baptist and Pentecostal doctrine, none of them baptize small children or use any method but submersion.
These people are trying to pass themselves off as the only Christians to exist. Witness all the “Christian” schools, bookstores television and radio stations calling themselves “Christian only” it is very obvious that they don’t include Catholics, Orthodox or even liturgical Protestants in their definition of Christian.
That comes across to me as devisive and the opposite of Christian Unity.
