I know that I have to trust in god and that only he alone knows why everything happens, but I’m starting to ask why did god take my dad? The pain is still there but what hurts more is the memories and regrets and in the end that is what hurts more

I’m very sorry for your loss. I will pray that God give you strength in this time of great sorrow. I don’t know what I would do if I lost my dad! I’d would probably be in a state of deep, deep depression. It would be a living nightmare.

I just found out that my dad had a near death expirience a couple years ago. He had started telling my sister that just before he crashed he saw the infant of atioch run across the street and the infant of atioch winked at my dad!
He died at the hospistal for a little bit but he came back, My sister and I discussed this and we thought that maybe he came back for a reason…I sometimes wonder if he came back to save my nephew’s life
When my brother’s girlfriend got pregnant dad was the one who suggested that she come live with us (her granmother had schedualed an abortion and my sis. in law ran away to her cousin
's house )
My dad always said that my nephew loved him b/c he had saved his life . So when I found out about my dad’s near death expirience I thought well maybe my dad came back to save my nephew from being murdered:shrug:
