My Darling Husband

I love this thread. I too have a darling husband and thank God every day for him. I’m so glad there are other women out there experiencing the same love and care and God had planned for marriage. All of those out there looking for a husband, keep looking until you find one who will treasure you (and your future children) 🙂
 
Happy 12th Anniversary!

I love to see wives speaking well of their husbands! I get so sad and discouraged when I hear Catholic wives trashing their husbands at our playdates, etc. The media paints husbands and fathers as complete morons, incapable of doing anything right. Our husbands face the world everyday, bombarded by temptations from a fallen society and may struggle with hurtful comments at work about our Catholic faith or family size.

I am so proud of my husband for remaining faithful, honourable, and committed to God and to our family. I am thankful to have such a strong spiritual head to our family. I am thankful for the love and tenderness he shows for our babies, and the devotion and affection he shows to me. I am thankful that my husband forgoes his own wants/desires for the greater good of our family. He sacrifices so much for us, and I do not take that for granted.

The Church is full of GOOD Catholic men. It is our job to love them, pray for them, and help them to stay that way. As Catholic spouses, our ultimate goal is to get to Heaven together… let’s not forget it!

May God look after you-Love peaceful and eternal. Until His Kingdom come then happiness inexhaustible.
