MarthSO - your daughter sounds incredibly normal. They always think they know everything at that age and she will probably experiment with quite a few different ‘ideas’ until she finds her thing.

Honestly - I rebelled quite a bit and only found my way again around 35. Nothing my parents did or didn’t do would have changed how I felt. My parents did lots of novenas for me, but I always felt they used the information to remind me of their disapproval. Just tell her she is always in your prayers generally.

Personally I would ensure you keep a positive relationship with your daughter. Nothing turns people off religion more than an overreaction to what she would deem as a trivial matter… Take time to have fun with her (watch a good movie, go for a walk etc) Getting close again will help you bring it up in a less confrontational way.

Busted. Wow you’re clever. I don’t know how I’m going to show my avatar face ‘round these parts again! You’ve pronounced judgment upon my character in my plea for help. A priest once told me to always give people the benefit of the doubt. Your reply was purposely cruel and speaks to your character, not mine. But for the sake of others whom you may have planted seeds of doubt of my sincerity, I’m not tech savvy and it was easy for me to copy paste the website in the hopes others smarter than me can maybe look and tell me if I really have something to worry about. I actually thought it probably wouldn’t be permitted and was happy to see it was allowed.

What a balm for that was to hear, thank you, that was actually the only plan I had in mind, to keep our relationship good. I unfortunately, as much as I love her , had to force myself today to be chipper around her (very rare for me to feel this way towards her) because she’s been annoying lately and it worked, eventually the conversation became naturally pleasant and we shared a few laughs and that’s when she decided to go outside to the art store and hand over the incense . Honestly I’m just afraid of the risk of a fire. I wouldn’t ask her to hand over a crystal rock, I just throw it out when I find it coming out of the dryer.

Forcing a friendly conversation will probably do wonders for your relationship in the long run. Youth have a lot of pressures and temptations and I truly believe it is so important to keep the relationship trustful even if they don’t follow the path you may want.

Nowadays, most teenagers won’t listen to what elders will say. To be honest, I’m one of them.
Those stones could’ve fascinated her and out of curiosity, she checked for it.

You can worry about her, but don’t exaggerate your worries because it can harm your mental health and your daughter as well. I’m not a father who can give you a good advice or some good stuffs but as a teen, you can talk with her. This may sound odd but we rely on someone of our age because we feel comfy and no one will get angry with us. She could be under pressure. What if you develop a time with one another and treat her as a friend? You may try to begin with simple but fun activities like baking and painting or even jiving on karaoke.

If you have a better relationship, you may want to talk about these stones and ask her that this can harm her. Most of us won’t listen if you included God in the talk but the steps above will make her more comfortable. Both of you are girls and she will trust you more than any other else, Pardon me if I didn’t give any useful advice! I will include both of you in my prayers! You can do that with God’s help mom!

When I skimmed your OP, I kind of shrugged and though so what. Then I read some of the responses, then I went to the store site. I can see why you are upset and concerned about your daughter. I’d like to say all their stuff is bunk, but when you read the particulars, it is quite frightening (that people practice this.) It would be so easy to get caught up with their smells and bells, their spiritual counselors. I can see how it could be attractive to your daughter. I’ll be praying for you.

Totally agree.
When I saw “spiritual guidance” part it was red flag.
One day you buy incense, other day again, later something else and then they offer you some “classes”, advices, some friendly meeting… And bam, you are sucked into that.
If there was no anyone to buy that 'rap they wouldn’t exist. They are very attractive, they offer everything that is normal in human spirit to wish, but on wrong place and wrong way.

Pray for her constantly. She is wrong but she can’t see it right now. Try not to cross with her bad energies feed her anger and she is not corrected by you punishing her.
Maybe also go to monasteries and ask for prayers there too.
Bottom line is that she has to pray herself and throw her stuff her self. You can’t force her to.
She needs your patience and love now that she is being tempted.
Yes those stuff has energies connected to the Enemy but as a daughter and never a mother I recommend you do not throw it yourself. She’ll hate you and go hectic.
After this trial her faith may become even stronger than before.

I do believe we are in a spiritual battle and I want to protect her from anything that may harm her spiritually.

I know it’s “just a rock or stone” but on top of my just being sad that she’s into this, I don’t know if these owners try to put some dark magic in their stuff, I know God is greater but Ive heard several eerie stories of witches converting to Catholicism because apparently weird unholy things happen when you mess with this stuff for “healing”

It is not only “a rock” if she believe it has “healing” power. It means she believes in it.

Wisdom 14:8-11
8 But the idol made with hands is accursed, and so is he who made it;
because he did the work, and the perishable thing was named a god.
11 Therefore there will be a visitation also upon the heathen idols,
because, though part of what God created, they became an abomination,
and became traps for the souls of men

Your husband (& you) should pray like this:
In the Name of Jesus Christ who has died on the cross for me & my family, I command all spirits that are not from God in Jesus Name to leave from this object and to leave this room and this house. I cancel whatever my daughter may have vowed or pledged in the past in my presence or not in my presence. I forbid any abomination spirits to ever comeback to this object and to this house. I ask that the blood of Christ cover me and my whole house from all evil. Amen.

If your daughter refuse to be present, you may say the above prayer whenever she is away. Sprinkle the object and the whole house with holy water while praying those phrases.

Whenever she comesback, you guys have meal together, say the Lords prayer before meal together in her presence. Hopefully she will be calm and willing to say the Lord’s prayer together. If not, that’s okay. Then in good timing lightly and happily mention its time to redecorate her room (which basically you will throw away those things, but without mention it to her). Or any other strategy that works.

Repeat the prayers if necessary, until the idols are in the trash & never return.

I’m sorry to hear about your daughter, although I sympathize with her since my spiritual decline and my abandonment of the faith began around the same age, when I ignorantly delved into the New Age, and suffered some serious spiritual consequences. In retrospect, I see now that I was under spiritual attack and I recognize the same with your daughter. The Devil is trying to get a foothold in her life and in your family. Your daughter doesn’t know it, but at heart, she is searching for God, but in all the wrong places.

You haven’t mentioned whether your daughter is a practicing Catholic. She really needs to get to Confession to send Satan packing and she should also discard the rock. New Age crystals and rocks are not harmless. Often they are cursed, which means that demons are attached to them and when you bring such rocks and crystals into your home, you bring the demons with them. Other than that, here are some things that you can do on her behalf to get the graces going:

• Pray the rosary faithfully every day for her conversion and for the protection of your family.
• Place a blessed Miraculous Medal under her mattress, frequently bless your home with holy water or blessed salt or a mixture. Use blessed salt for cooking and light blessed candles.
• Have Masses celebrated for her soul and attend daily Mass yourself if it is possible.
• Hang a blessed crucifix and Divine Mercy image in her bedroom (although there should be one in every bedroom). The Divine Mercy image is a vessel of tremendous grace and played a pivotal role in my conversion. Jesus told St. Faustina, “By means of this image I shall be granting many graces to souls; so, let every soul have access to it.” (Diary, 570)

I suggest these blessed items because they grant graces and your daughter needs as much grace as she can get right now before she heads down a spiritually dangerous path.

Surrender your daughter who is the daughter of God and ask God to help her and show her way,

You can also on live video of Jesus in the Holy Sacrament and pray infront Of Jesus,

You can go to youtube and type “Deliverence Video Dominic Father”,

And you can listen to this Catholic Father with the gift of Deliverence saying prayers,

We went to adoration chapel physically,

In earphone heard the deliverence video, said the Rosary and meditated on the mystery of the Rosary…

You can confess consistently,

I am surrendering this Rosary, all the prayers I did with Rosary and all the Holy Meditations I made with the Rosary in the name of Jesus Christ for the conversion of sinners, for souls in purgatory and for my daughter to come back to God…

And St Augustine was saved,

Same way,

Trust in Jesus and Mama Mary and pray,

And your daughter will become a saint because Jesus can do everything
