****Please pray with me for my father Wayne GW that he will find a kidney very soon to save his life. He is only 57, he is on dialysis everyday and has had 3 operations to be able to do dialysis.
He works so hard. He gets up every morning no matter how tired he is and drives all over the better part of the South East region of the US and sometimes flies to Boston for work and still does dialysis at night. I am graduating fom college this fall and he has helped me to be able to do this. I have offered him my kidney and he will not take me or my brothers kidney. He is a tough old bird and never gives up. He is a self-made man and has worked very hard his entire life to provide for his family and he is a fine example of a father. He has been on dialysis for over a year. With the data I have seen for people on waiting lists, I am getting very worried and discouraged although he is not. He is the finest man anyone could ever know. I am asking for your prayers please. He deserves a happy and healthy life. He prays the rosary everyday and never misses mass regardless of anything. Thank you for your prayers. He, my mom, my brother, and I believe in the power of prayer and novenas and that Jesus Christ will get our family through this. Thank you.Thank you!

Hey Shannon,

I’m praying for your father now! And what wonderful children he has! How many children offer their parents a second chance at life! I wish he would reconsider that one… God has a plan…

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Wow thanks everybody! You’re helping us all! You’re helping me keep the faith too! Thank you:)

Remember, O most chaste Spouse of the Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who implored your help and sought your intercession was left unassisted. Full of confidence in your power, I fly unto you, and beg your powerful intercession for Wayne. Despise not, O foster-father of the Redeemer, my humble supplication, but in your bounty, hear and answer me. Amen.

Will be keeping your Dad, Wayne, in prayer…

Your father and your whole family will be in my prayers at Mass today :gopray2:

Thank you everyone more than you can imagine! I cant tell you what it does for my heart and spirit to hear from everyone like this. Thank you. This means the world to me. :grouphug:

How is your father? Does he still need a transpant or did he receive one?

Hi, thanks for the reply, I have been gone for some time. I graduated from college over the fall and moved and have started career hunting and settling in so it has been a whirlwind lately. I spent a few months with dad before I moved after graduation and it was a little rough. He was doing better for a while and then got very sick at the beginning of the year and has recently been feeling a bit better. He has not found a donor yet but he’s still on the list. I went through a phase where I was angry about it for a while, but now realize I have to accept it like he had so long ago. It bothered me that he was too sick to come and visit but I know he will be able to one day. In the meantime we have been working on computer projects together and having fun with that and they have been going over really well at his work. It keeps him busy, he’s pretty tired after work but it keeps him from being bummed and he’s very grateful for his job and family I can tell and he always says so. Thanks for asking about him. I am very fortunate to atleast have him still living in my life. It’s counting our blessings that get us by.

I will keep him in my prayers, (I’ve heard that the best matches come from relatives) :signofcross:

Dear God, please have mercy on our souls: we are but poor sinners. We come before you asking for the wisdom to know your will, and the faith to carry it out. Please grant us our plea for help from you, Lord: please grant us faith, hope, love and sorrow for our sins so that we may be righteous, as you will.

All glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.
