My friend's husband has a tumor on his optic nerve

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wiles and wickedness of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls.

Please help 7_Sorrows’s friend and her friend’s husband in this difficult time. Please allow him to heal from this.

They will be returning to the doctor tomorrow and more than likely getting the
results of the biopsy, so I will update his condition in the next day or two.

I am waiting to hear from her, hopefully tonight, about her husband’s doctor’s
appointment.

Thank you. They got home late tonight and they had a 4 hour drive to the doctor and a 4 hour drive back so I knew they were tired. I didn’t want to get into any
discussion of what they found out when they had had such a long day. She didn’t offer any news so as we were texting I just told them to get a good night’s rest and I would check in tomorrow sometime. If they got bad news that it is cancer, it will take some time to come to grips with that information.
I am sure tomorrow we will chat.

Since my friend’s husband is blind in his left eye, my friend has to do the
driving. They live in a little town so I am sure it was stressful for her to drive the 4 hours and then drive in Oklahoma City where the doctor is and then drive 4 hours
home.

UPDATE - I just had a quick conversation with my friend (she was grocery shopping). Unfortunately, the biopsy came back showing the tumor is cancer.

She did mention they will do radiation.

She and I plan to talk more tomorrow. Please pray for my friend and her husband
and their 23 year old son.

I spoke with my friend this afternoon. They will have to travel to OKC for the next 6 weeks and he will get radiation treatments 5 days a week for those 6 weeks.
At this time, the treatments are set to begin on December 9th.

Their son is 24 and, therefore, very concerned.

The next 8 weeks will not be easy for this family.
