Hail Mary, Full of Grace
the Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou amongst women
and Blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen

When it is time may Jesus come to take Mona by the hand into heaven. May Mona give to each of her loved ones a special blessing; a spiritual gift, that only she can give to give them insight into heaven. May Mona’s passing bring to those left behind the greatest blessing of faith that will endure them through their lives on earth until they meet again. May this time be filled with peace and joy. God Bless You.
Amen.

St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God thrust into hell satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen

Father, may the grace of a peaceful death descend upon Your humble servant as a prelude to the eternal joy which awaits her. Father, You see that she does not resist, but submits entirely to Your will. We pray that You credit this to her as righteousness, and reveal Your mercy to her in judgment. Fill the hearts which gather around her with faith and love at this most important time of her life. We ask this through Christ Jesus, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!.

Thank you all so much for your prayers and kind replies! I am so touched to read through all these replies! ❤️

My grandmother, Mona, is still alive. It is really miraculous how peaceful she is. No one in the family has *ever *seen her this full of joy. She has had a very hard life, and I think she may have paid off her purgatory on earth. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. I will keep you all in mine. 🙂

And I will update as soon as I hear any more news.

Dather, in Jesus name I beg of You the grace that this grandmother’s soul is purified in Your sight before she dies so that she is immediately welcomed into heaven.
Please surround her family with Your light and love.

St. Joseph, Foster Father of Jesus Christ and true Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, pray for us, and especially for those who will die tonight

Hail Mary,

of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Mona is still here, but she’s mostly sleeping. She will sleep for 4-5 hours and then wake up for 2-3 minutes, etc. Each time she wakes up she’s very impatient when she finds out she’s still here :)! It just dawned on me that she has always had a strong devotion to St. Joseph, particlularly with regard to interceding for the breadwinners in our family. And tomorrow is his feast day! I wonder if she will be able to celebrate his feast with him in Heaven tomorrow?

Thank you all so very much for your prayers! What is happening here with my grandmother is truly miraculous. Believe it or not, up until about 2-3 months ago, she was always very scared and frightened of the thought of dying. No one in the family ever thought it would be like *this *in the end.

CatholicSam,
You probably already know this, but St Joseph is also the patron saint of the dying.

I will pray the chaplet of Divine Mercy for your grandmother today.

Father in Heaven, we thank You and we praise Your name for Your mercy! For You have comforted the afflicted and reassured the weary with Your promises. As Mona awaits Your call, grant her even greater love of you. Let her desire for Your Kingdom strengthen her family and loved ones in these, her last hours among us. Let all who know her marvel at the peace which her transition from this temporal life into eternal life brings her. As well, Father, may she not be impatient as she waits, but rather filled with hope and anticipation. We pray that the blessing of her life will be celebrated, rather than mourned once You have called her home. We ask this through Christ Jesus, Your Only Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!
