Hey everyone!

First time posting on the prayer thread, so hope I get some hits! 😃

I would like to ask you all to pray for my grandpa. He’s in the hospital for several tests right now, and my mom is really worried, prolly cause my grandma who lived with us for five months died earlier this month. We all miss her, and I can understand her sensitivity. The docs first thought that it was a reaction to medicine, but it turns out they’re now thinking it was a light stroke. He was slurring his words and isn’t able to move very easily. Please pray for him, and heavenly Father, please help him.

I have had two light strokes and have recovered beautifully. I’ll pray for him

You have given us grace at this time to offer You a common prayer together and have promised that when two or three are gathered together in Your name, that You will grant their requests; fulfill, Lord, the prayers of Your servants, which are for our welfare, grant us the knowledge of Your truth in this world and life everlasting in the world to come. Dear Queen of Heaven, recieve the prayer of a sinner who loves you and knows that your tender heart can not but help respond with great tenderness, power, and lovingness to each request we send to your heart in our prayers. Please console the family of writingluver5 and help prepair writingluver5’s grandfather for whatever destiny God has planned for him. If he is to die, grant him a holy death, and to live, to be consoled by your presense and love. Holy Mother, protect and guide writingluver5 and teach her all the hidden secret ways of love for which you give us. Let her faith and the faith of her family be strong in this difficult time for them.

O Mother of Perpetual Help!!

We ask that you would pray for Mary’s mother in her daily dealing with her father’s current illness. That you might quell in her the anxiety she feels. That you would continue to comfort her in the loss of her mother because assuredly that still hurts. That you would wrap your mantle around her in bringing her to the newer phase of her life if that is what Jesus wills. We ask you to pray for Mary’s father that he would be given strength and willingness to live as Jesus asked us to live, with joy!!

We ask this in the name of Christ our Lord, Amen.
 
Merciful Lord, hear our prayers on behalf of the beloved grandfather. You alone know his needs before we ask. Graciously care for him and grant him Your healing mercy. This we ask through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
