On my own. and yes, even sister amy misdirects you because she is chosing to listen to clerics instead of doing her own research. She is very close to what could be considered a ‘useful idiot’. It is more reserved for the left in our country, and Europe and elsewhere such as Lebanon too.Ah, but have you studied it on your own or with help from a Muslim cleric?
See, the more I learn of the faith on my own, the more I think that they are not 100% honest with us. I have never doubted a word that Sister Amy has said to me, but somehow, those Muslims from overseas seem to be more than willing to misdirect, obfuscate, change the subject, or whatever to keep us from knowing thier true faith.
It seems like in order to get them to tell you everything, you will have to drink the kool-aid.
When I first asked the question - I was talking to a Jewess. She has dual citizenship in Israel and the USA. She listened to me when I was very ignorant of what was going on, but had some personal experiences myself with islam and its violence (another story I don’t want to go into right now). She told me to read ‘From Time Immemorial’. Well, that led me to over 50 books, websites, and the koran and hadiths (I have not read all the hadiths).
When I first started I barely practiced my Catholicism - now I can be considered a practicing Catholic!! And not ashamed to say that ‘Jesus is my Savior’ to anyone anymore.
One muslim told me to seek out an ayatollah, another told me to seek out an imam. I am no one’s fool - I don’t need to see in front of my face their deception. Because that is what they are all about. I will not seek out that sort of ilk! Unless I wanted to be a spy for the USA! Now that I wouldn’t have any problem doing. But I am sure they have better than me infiltrating the mosques. That is probably how they got so many reports that they have so much hate literature in quite a number of them.
