My mother has passed. Please pray for my family

I just received confirmation that my mother has died. The details of her life, my life, and all things in between would take more pages than anyone wants to read, as would the details of what has happened. All I will say is that drugs and addiction were involved.
Please keep my grandparents in your prayers. She was their only child, and they are not in good health themselves, and I am afraid this will break them. They are both very strong in faith, but I know they will need every bit of grace that can be afforded them in this.

Also, please pray for addicts, for anyone who is under the influence of the evil of drugs. They need the strength and power of God to break free. There are good people who have made bad decisions and gotten into something more powerful than themselves. But there is nothing more powerful than our Lord Jesus Christ.

May Our Lord Jesus grant to your mother, in death, the peace she never enjoyed in this life. He knows her heart and He knows what difficulties she had to deal with. Let us trust in His mercy.

And may His Blessed Mother intercede with Her Beloved Son, whom She, too, once had to lose to the evils of this world, to grant you comfort and the grace of His countenance to you and to your grandparents in your sorrow.

Jesus please be merciful to the soul of Gaius Felix’s mother. Go to her at her instant of death and show her Your merciful love and forgiveness.

Flood Your merciful love into the lives of her family.
And into the lives of addicts and potential addicts.

May God hear your heartfelt prayers and comfort you in this loss.
I ask Jesus to heal in you whatever injuries result in your heart and life as consequence of your mother’s choices.

Lord of all mercy, look with immeasurable compassion upon this beloved mother, whom You have called from this world. Father, You alone know the disposition of her heart. Graciously hear our fervent prayers that her pain and suffering is ended, and that she longed to see You face to face. We pray that her heart was converted at the end, pleading with Your Son Jesus Christ for help. Eternal Creator, her life was not wasted if its path took a turn toward you, even in its final moments. In Your mercy, accompany her mother and father as they cope with the sorrowful loss that confronts them. Grant them closure, and fill them with hope for her salvation, since they inspired her with the holy lives that they lead. Bring comfort to her loved ones, making them aware of Your presence as their spiritual healing begins. We beseech You to join our prayers with those of the Angels and Saints to form an unending petition for mercy and healing. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!
 
I’m so sorry to hear this! I’ll be praying for her, you, her parents, and the rest of your family. May God bless you with great strength and hope throughout all of this.
