Hi everybody! I just wanted to share that my son was born last week. As some of you know Im 43 years old with two older teenagers and I had a health scare regarding him. But the Lord gifted me this child after I decided to do NFP (using an app,…I know) because my heart was nagging me to fully commit to the Church that I’ve come to love so much. I cried for two days straight in agony when I found out I was pregnant. I’m too old, I mourned my 4 person family…and then afterwards I accepted and then became excited throughout my pregnancy.
I love Jesus so much in my imperfect way, I feel this child was a gift from Him because I was open to life. When the doubts of my age come back, I remind myself that he is a gift and the Lord would not have done this if He didn’t see us capable of raising him. This is what I tell myself.
Anyway, I wanted to share with you all because even though I may not come back here because the days are busy I felt a nudge to share and say thank you for all your prayers. I really appreciate you all, and of course this includes those I don’t agree with always or may have made upset (sorry), you’re my brothers and sisters in Christ and I pray God bless you richly.
PS- Sleepness nights may be easier in your twenties, wow I wasn’t ready for that again! I slept great for 15 years oh boy. He’s also a bit of a fussy one…but I hear that goes away in a few months.
