Hi everybody! I just wanted to share that my son was born last week. As some of you know Im 43 years old with two older teenagers and I had a health scare regarding him. But the Lord gifted me this child after I decided to do NFP (using an app,…I know) because my heart was nagging me to fully commit to the Church that I’ve come to love so much. I cried for two days straight in agony when I found out I was pregnant. I’m too old, I mourned my 4 person family…and then afterwards I accepted and then became excited throughout my pregnancy.

I love Jesus so much in my imperfect way, I feel this child was a gift from Him because I was open to life. When the doubts of my age come back, I remind myself that he is a gift and the Lord would not have done this if He didn’t see us capable of raising him. This is what I tell myself.

Anyway, I wanted to share with you all because even though I may not come back here because the days are busy I felt a nudge to share and say thank you for all your prayers. I really appreciate you all, and of course this includes those I don’t agree with always or may have made upset (sorry), you’re my brothers and sisters in Christ and I pray God bless you richly.

PS- Sleepness nights may be easier in your twenties, wow I wasn’t ready for that again! I slept great for 15 years oh boy. He’s also a bit of a fussy one…but I hear that goes away in a few months.

CONGRATS!!! That’s amazing. Fatherhood is tiring, but so awesome!!! (Or, in your case, motherhood.)

Congrats on the birth of your little one.

Congratulations on a little one (who in a year will be running around and keeping you fit and alert when chasing after him). 😃

That’s wonderful news, thank you so much MarthaSo for taking the time in letting us know.
Will keep praying .God bless.

Congrats! And with all your spare time 😂 keep us posted. Also, details? Length, weight, hair or bald?

Enjoy him endlessly and remember to nap when he does!

Thank you Patty and thanks to all!!!
He was 8 lbs! The napping when they nap for someone with a bit of ocd in cleaning is hard! Because my mind is constantly reminding me the toilets have to get clean, the floors washed…it looks tidy at first glance but my kind of mind focuses on the deeper level which unfortunately is the way my mind works. I am a bit strange that way I suppose. The good news is the dirt is still there because I’m focused on healing myself and caring for this bundle of love. I’ll give it a full 2-3 weeks before I tackle cleaning. My husband works 2 jobs and helps with the baby so I don’t burden him with anything more because in his mind if the house is tidy it’s clean. My teen daughter helps but again, zimbabwe not fortunate to have the kind of thinking that her level of cleaning is good enough but I don’t mention it I just appreciate it!!
