I believe there is a hell. Here on earth and the after life. Hell on earth 🌏 is the evil that we do to one another. Hell on earth is our guilt, shame, giving into our temptations.

Eternal hell is to spend eternal life alone. I get me and only me. I have my life and everything in it and no one to share it with.

So the thought of hell on earth or the after life keeps me praying and asking forgiveness of my sins.

I can agree with this. I’ve been experiencing Hell from temptation pretty strongly recently. The sadness sin leaves behind reminds me of where to find happiness, which is in God.

Baltimore Catechism says:
Q. 1379. What is Hell?

A. Hell is a state to which the wicked are condemned, and in which
they are deprived of the sight of God for all eternity, and are in
dreadful torments.

Q. 1380. Will the damned suffer in both mind and body?

A. The damned will suffer in both mind and body, because both mind
and body had a share in their sins. The mind suffers the “pain of loss”
in which it is tortured by the thought of having lost God forever, and
the body suffers the “pain of sense” by which it is tortured in all its
members and senses.

So, it sounds like there is actual torment, not just the hideousness of being by yourself.

1380 answer, some people experience this now while alive…

When it comes to honestly, no one knows for sure what happens when you die and if there truly is a Heaven or Hell. But I sincerely hope there is a Heaven and that I will be reunited with my loved ones past and present and that there is something better than this, and someone waiting at home. Others would say that Hell is already incarnate in earth in the guise of war, cruelty and evil.

The torment of mind and body, “in my thoughts and in my words. What I have done and what I have failed to do. I ask blessed Mary Ever Virgin, all the angels 👼 and Saints to pray for me to the Lord my God”

This is what I’m talking about. I’ve experienced all that here and it is tormenting. Both mind and body. Something I don’t want to experience anymore in eternal hell.

i believe what I’m saying brings the catechism of the church to reality.

Eternal hell is to spend eternal life alone. I get me and only me. I have my life and everything in it and no one to share it with.
Do you believe in the Bible? Here’s what the Bible says about hell:
Matthew 13:50 “furnace of fire…weeping and gnashing of teeth”
Mark 9:48 “where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched”
Revelation 14:10 “he will be tormented with fire and brimstone”

Indeed. Now tell me what that all means. Many can quote scripture. Few can tell you what it means.

To further go on my thoughts on Hell…yes Hell is definitely infinitely much worse than we can imagine because sin outrages the infinite justice of God. St. Teresa of Avila, Bl. Anne Emmerich, St. John Bosco, Sr. Lucy of Fatima, and St. Faustina all have had horrid visions of Hell I suggest reading about. Hell is eternity without God with many different kinds of torture: physical, mental, and spiritual. Spiritual torture is the loss of God. Physical torture is the continual flames and the never ending bodily pain and torture from demons. Mental torture is the knowledge that one could have been saved but now all hope is lost forever.

There really is no Hell on earth besides the presence of demons which continue to cause spiritual harm to us. This is but a small grain of sand in an ocean in comparison to the pain of Hell.

There is no prostitute in Revelation. This only displays great lack of scholarship on the subject.

it is truly a fire, your soul is there, thats all you “see”

Uh. You said there were no prostitutes in revelation, and I just showed you where with my “great lack of scholarship on the subject”

If there is a hello, hopefully no one will ever have to experience it, and everyone will allow love and forgiveness into their hearts at the moment of their death.

whore does not equal prostitute.

refer to the early church readings in one of your languages , for more complete clarity

I don’t think CAF is the place to discuss the differences in these words. But we could in pm.
