My understanding of Mohammad

It is possible Mohammad was talking about the Collyridians – 4th century Arabian sect, but were they still around by the time Mohammad wrote the Quran?

it dosn’t mattar with me if this sect was exist in the time of mohammad (pbuh) or not , what is mattar with me is that this verse talking about event which supposed to happen in the judgment day
what will happen is that God will ask jesus (pbuh) : did you ever asked your followers to worship you or your mother , and he will deny that , so worsshipping jesus or worshipping his mother or woshipping both in anytime in the life of earth untill the day of judgment and by majorities or minoroties are involved in this one simple question

try to google " worship of mary" you will found out that such people exist somewhere in the world

Yes it does.

It matters because it’s quite likely that this is one of the heretical groups that Muhammad got his false information about Christianity from.
