Our prayers are being answered. My sister is now praying to St Therese and Padre Pio, who she was very close to at one time. She is amazed that there are people here who take the time out to pray for her, and is very appreciative.

Her health is improving, very very slowly but she has hope now and is encouraged even though living in cramped, uncomfortable and sometimes unpleasant circumstances.But she is realizing that others there are worse off than her, and is trying to be kind to them and supportive.

Thank you for your prayers, and please, if you can, continue to keep her in yours if possible.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven

**Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses **
**As we forgive those who trespass against us **
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Dee thanks for the update on your sister, its very encouraging. I will continue to pray for you and her

Please pray for my sister, Angela, who has been in hospital for the last two months due to degeneration of her spine from her chronic conditions of MS and MG, relating to large dose cortisone usage. She has a resentment for the Catholic faith going back about 25 years, as a result of a ‘near death’ experience she had during an operation, where she believes God was sending her to hell. She sees God as a harsh judge/punisher and thinks the Catholic Faith is about putting people on a guilt-trip.She has concocted a religious view of her own, that is mostly a sensless mixture of eastern mysticism and partial christianity. She is constantly insulting and angry at my brother and I, and slanders us with exaggerated and imagined grave personal faults and transgressions against her, to anyone who cares to listen. She now refuses to have anything to do with me, as I continue to correct her and insisted she value truth and charity.
May your sister’s heart not become hardened and she feel the presence of God’s love and compassion within her heart.
PRAYER FOR STRONG FAITH
TO SAINT JOSEPH
Happy, blissful St. Joseph,
heir of the faith of all the patriarchs,
obtain for me this beautiful and precious virtue:
increase in me a lively faith,
the foundation of all sanctity,
that faith without which no one can be pleasing to God.
Obtain for me that faith
which triumphs over all temptations of the world
and conquers human respect;
which can be shaken by nothing,
and is directed solely towards God.
Cause me after your example to live by faith,
to subject my heart and understanding to God,
that once I may behold in heaven
what I now firmly believe on earth.

Nihil Obstat: Richard J. Schuler,
Imprimatur: Archbishop John R. Roach, D.D.

The LORD bless you
and keep you;
the LORD make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the LORD turn his face toward you
and give you peace.” Num 6:24-26

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Thank you for all the prayers and support. My sister and I are getting along well together and she is not at all angry now she is settling down in the new hospital and I visit her as often as I can. She really loves the St Theresa calendar I gave her, it has beautiful pictures in it. Last month i had a procedure under anaesthetic and she was praying so hard for me to Jesus, Mary and all the saints. Your prayers are being heard and answered and am keeping you all in mine, with gratitude.

Hail Mary full of grace
The Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus
Holy Mary Mother of God
Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our death
Amen

Blessed Alan de la Roche said "Let everyone who loves you, oh most Mary, listen to this and drink it in:

Whenever I say Hail Mary the court of heaven rejoices
And the earth is lost in wonderment.
And I despise the world and my heart is brim-full of the love of God
When I say Hail Mary;
All my fears wilt and die and my passions are quelled
if I say Hail Mary;
Devotion grows within me and sorrow for sin awakens
When I say Hail Mary.
Hope is made strong in my breast
And the dew of consolation falls on my soul
More and more - because I say Hail Mary.
And my spirit rejoices
And sorrow fades away
When I say Hail Mary. . .

Joy is prayer—Joy is strength—Joy is love—Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls. God loves a cheerful giver. She gives most who gives with joy. The best way to show our gratitude to God and the people is to accept everything with joy. A joyful heart is the inevitable result of a heart burning with love. Never let anything so fill you with sorrow as to make you forget the joy of the Christ risen.** **
