To all, if you could take a little time out of your day for the next 9 days and pray a novena with me, my family, and my wife’s family and our children’s Godparents it is much needed. My wife has lost hope in our marriage. Pray that my wife will find it in her heart to love me again and come back to me with our children. thank you all for your prayers.

Lord, we pray for healing of this marriage. Please send Your Holy Spirit to guide them through the path of forgiveness. In Jesus’ Holy name, we pray thru Mary. Amen.

Day two of my novena. I am praying the St Jude Novena and the St Therese Novena. If any of you are praying it with me, continue to ask for my wife’s heart to open up to me again, for her to have hope in our marriage again, and for her to come back to me with our children. Thank you all.
 
DAY TWO

O blessed apostle Jude, who has been instrumental in gathering us here together this day, grant that we may always serve Jesus Christ as he deserves to be served, giving of our best efforts in living as he wishes us to live. May we dispose our hearts and minds that god will always be inclined to listen to our prayers and petitions, especially those petitions which we entrust to your care and for which we as you to plead for us. (that paratrooper129’s wife will come back to her husband and their children.) Grant that we may be enlightened as to what is best for us, in the present and future, not forgetting the blessings we have received in the past. Amen.

I came back to this thread because I’m having the same problem you’re having. My significant other decided to leave me 3 months ago. I tried every possible way to win her back and failed miserably. I was on the brink of taking my own life due to severe depression.

This morning I went to church with a heavy heart and praying for a miracle. I spoke and cried, yes…I cried like a baby. He offered me encouraging words that felt reassuring. He then told me something very important so please listen carefully.

He said if God doesn’t answer you maybe he has something better in store for you down the road. Or he feels like whatever you want isn’t what he wants for you. And lastly the priest said to me that may seem mundane to you all but it hits me like a train.

He said if God doesn’t want to grant you a wish. Maybe you should pray to Virgin Mary after all she is his mother. And usually good children listen to their mothers. God is no exception. He doesn’t have to take direct order from her but he listens attentively to what she has to say.

After I spoke with the priest I went over to Mary statue which stood in front of the main entrance and prayed with all my sincerity. Then for some reason I decided to drive to her friend house just to talk to her friend. Low and behold she was also there so we got to chit chat for a bit. It seems like we’re making a little bit of progress though she didn’t make any promises I think overall it was a step forward.

Everything happened about 2 hrs ago such a divine miracle God has blessed me. Sorry for the long winded story. Everyone else’s suggestion sound pretty good too so keep trying. Praying hard for you buddy!!!
 
johnvu713, thanks for the story. It was extremely uplifting. I am feeling better today. I started the day praying my two novenas I am praying. then prayed the rosary on the way to church. I feel God reaching to me and I know anything is possible through him. I will continue to pray to the Virgin Mary. Good luck on your end as well. Keep me up to date on your situation. My wife is currently across the country with our children at her parents. I just pray that they come home soon. My step daughter starts soccer the first week of august, so if they are going to come back it will have to be no later than end of july. I have all of my family, her family, and my other two daughters Godparents praying novena’s. Only through the power of Christ will her heart be opened to us again. Keep praying. Thanks again.
