My wife has lost hope in our marriage

I am continuing to pray the novena I started yesterday for the healing of your marriage.

just when I thought the day was going well…i.e. no news is okay news… my wife calls again… and again tells me she doesn’t want to be with me… doesn’t want to come back… and now says that an attorney will be in contact… oh Lord help me… my heart aches with pain…

Remember to offer up your pain to the souls in purgatory so that it has meaning. But it’s not for nothing . because if you pray for, and sacrifice for them, they will pray for you (They can pray for others not for themselves.) Please help them. (They can ask God to help your marriage)

thank you pseudocenturion… I believe that God will intervene… my wife is just so far from reconciling… its so hard to think that she will change here mind and come home… it just hurts to hear the one you love to say over and over again that she doesn’t want this anymore… there was no infidelity… I have never and would never hit her… we fight… we have fought over the past 4 yrs we have been married… before she left it was a bad month… we were not on good terms… but now that she is gone I think she feels empowered not to return… our 13 yr old is supposed to start soccer the first week of august… I thought I married a catholic woman… catholic marriages are forever… only when there is abuse, maybe infidelity and other extreme circumstances… this is my wife’s second marriage… the first she was abused… It just hurts to talk to her when all she says is that she doesn’t want this marriage… she wont think about all the love that we have had… she has said she made a mistake marrying me… I have had thoughts at times and doubts about our marriage sometimes but never would actually contemplate because this is a holy catholic marriage… i’m lost right now… please pray all that can…
 
day 4 of the novenas. Had a bad day yesterday. Once again my wife called and said she didn’t want to come home. She is way up in the NW of the states and I am way down here in the SE. I miss her so much… I miss my children so much… I went to daily Mass today. Said the rosary twice. Said my two novenas…Still having a hard time this morning.

Continue to pray for her change of heart and that she will return to our home here in the SE this month.

Thank you all for your prayers and keep them coming. I have started my two novenas over again on Monday. No real signs on Sunday I guess. I don’t know. I went up NW to see my girls for the past week. My wife did not want to talk to me or see me. I have not lost faith, hope or love that God will intercede. All things are possible through him. Continue to pray that the Holy Spirit touches her heart and sees that we are worth another chance. I don’t want our babies growing up away from me or their mother. They need us both. God bless all of you who are praying for our marriage.
