Read Nelka’s posting history. Things have been contentious with his wife for quite some time…years. There’s a ton of “it takes two to tango” going on. From what he has posted they have basically been two separate people living in the same house and agreeing to raise the children without ever fully communicating.I think this situation is just a symptom of a much large issue going on. But, as you said, when your wife saw the crucifix and immediately got angry and tore it down, that is a red flag after you said she is a practicing Catholic.
Begs the question, if she is a practicing Catholic, then why the adverse reaction to seeing a crucifix? Maybe she is not practicing quite as hard as she could be![]()
Yeah, it can be a little confusing. Not to be totally confusing or anything but we’re both momsAnd we both care for special needs kids (in her case her daughter, in my case, my niece…although not so much this year as last)
It is not that it “cannot” be done, but rather that we do not do it. If the owner doesn’t want the blessing, it’s not proper to impart one.…
One cannot secretly bless someone else’s property. @frdavid96 has spoken about this on other threads. Perhaps he can speak with greater clearity here.
