A privately owned bakery is forced to provide service to gay clients. The business is private and it has the right to control the content of its own product. The client requests to impose their own idea. expressed in frosting, on the product of this private entity. And we know what the result is.
So, the private baker has no rights to control his own content, but twitter has the right to control the content I submit?

Please, please explain this.

I’m not here to play apologist for an unrelated topic. I’m explaining, as someone who has a YouTube channel, how the first Amendment applies in relation to comments.

If you want to complain about “teh gayz,” start another thread.

NOT ONLY was my response deleted, but apparently I have been blocked from commenting on that video at all.
Who deleted your response? And who blocked you? The Youtube user that posted the vid, or Youtube itself? (I’m not familiar with who can block what on Youtube.)

Please, please explain this.
I’m not sure why you expect me to be able to reconcile this for you. It’s an ongoing controversy. Lawyers and judges disagree. This is how the sausage gets made in the American legal system.

What we can say is clear is that your First Amendment rights were not violated by someone deleting your comments on a youtube video.

The video poster can choose to block other users. Other users can flag comments for moderation, and then the poster can choose whether or not to delete them.

I see. In that case, I don’t understand what the OP is surprised about.

Thankyou for your reply random alias.
It’s all part of their journey home. To be indifferent would be worrying. IMHO
