I assume that the president, administration, and faculty members, of the two world class universities in St. Louis Missouri, know the difference between a science department, philosophy department or religious studies department and the individual interpretation of scientific theories and the individual interpretation of Scripture made by others.Shall I assume there are no university science departments where you come from? I know there are some in Missouri, for I have friends who teach at Washington University and Saint Louis University (Catholic). Neither institution has a Department of Young Earth Biology or a Department of Literal Biblical Interpretation.
Regarding the OP question about teaching myths and fairy tales–that would be a question of integrity and the purpose of an individual course. A long-ago professor in St. Louis, Missouri, was noted for his ability to teach students the difference between the reality in philosophy and scripture and various interpretations including the accusation of fairy tales. His defense of Divine Revelation was unbeatable. Too bad he is dead.

These two websites contain TV ads about Catholicism. The first is from one of the Dioceses which is using them. The second is general information.
