Maybe the “catholic god” and his mom, but not the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob: Genesis 1, John 1 and Acts 2.
The Catholic God is non other than the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit in the OT and NT.

Do you realize you are bearing false witness?

The Body of Christ! His believers! 👍 No matter how many times Satan takes a crack at us we keep tickin’! :extrahappy:
I didn’t realize Protestants went back that far. I thought they’ve been around for 500 years or so. Anyways the Catholic Church has been around for 2000+ years which is proclaims the fullness of the Lord the undivided Body of Christ.

I submit to you that the catholic church is bursting with the Body of Christ… Protestants, as Christians, joined later on but they joined none the less… As ONE we are the Body of Christ of which the gates of Hell shall not prevail… Makes me smile everytime! 😃

Forgive me for being a little dense… you know how us protestants can be! 😉 But what does this have to do with my comment that you quoted? Is it just that one time when Arianism was fought that Satan tried to squash Christ’s Church???
Arianism was deemed as a heresy in the early Catholic Church before there was such a thing as Protestants. Meaning that Protestants were not part of this at all.

But that doesn’t really answer my question… just because protestants didn’t technically exist at the time doesn’t mean that that was the ONLY time Satan attacked the Body of Christ. You weren’t born at this time but does that make you any less of a part of the Body of Christ???

Then his Body must be Disfigured.

Protestants joined the catholic church? Although you are right that we all belong to the Body of Christ but you mistaken that the Protestants are in communion with the Catholic Church. Actually Protestants protested against the Catholic Church.

There is a difference between catholic and Catholic.

I didn’t say that protestants joined the catholic church… *sigh… I said they joined the Body of Christ… sorry if that wasn’t clear…

According to the Catechism, Protestants are united with the Catholic Church, but in an imperfect way.
818 “However, one cannot charge with the sin of the separation those who at present are born into these communities [that resulted from such separation] and in them are brought up in the faith of Christ, and the Catholic Church accepts them with respect and affection as brothers … All who have been justified by faith in Baptism are incorporated into Christ; they therefore have a right to be called Christians, and with good reason are accepted as brothers in the Lord by the children of the Catholic Church.”[272]
819 “Furthermore, many elements of sanctification and of truth”[273] are found outside the visible confines of the Catholic Church: “the written Word of God; the life of grace; faith, hope, and charity, with the other interior gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as visible elements.”[274] Christ’s Spirit uses these Churches and ecclesial communities as means of salvation, whose power derives from the fullness of grace and truth that Christ has entrusted to the Catholic Church. All these blessings come from Christ and lead to him,[275] and are in themselves calls to “Catholic unity.”[276]

yea kind of, but there is just too much errors, cult, and false teaching out there to say its all the body Christ.
So stop. I try not to get heated and I NEVER say ugly things like that about the catholic church… I ask you do the same.

Those cults and such that you speak of… are they REALLY christians? Please don’t lump me in with anything and everything that is not catholic… Some groups out there cannot be considered christian because they deny Christ…

Just curious Singinbeauty, have you read anything on the Early Church Fathers ?

I am a part of the Body of Christ in the present time not 1500 years ago. Therefore I did not do my part to fight Arianism just like Protestants didn’t either.

Satan has continuosly attacked the Body of Christ throughout the ages using different strategies. Non the less the discussion was about Arianism.
