I still remember the closeup of the eye and that splinter of wood coming together. So many good things I’ve forgotten over the years, but that disgusting scene stays with me
that was my call too. Horrible, horrible film. The only movie I ever really regretted seeing was A Clockwork Orange - I’ve got a pretty strong stomach but that was over the line.
I thought it was hilarious. I watch it just to laugh and laugh at how cliché and stupid it is. Some films are so bad they are fun to watch.Battlefield Earth- complete utter garbage. I’m a big sci-fi fan and thought it might be ok, boy was I wrong.
I hated the film of Steinbeck’s The Red Pony. I’ll never watch it again.I always felt that many of the so-called great 20th century authors enjoyed wallowing in misery.
I recently watched the Adam Sandler movie Uncut Gems on Netflix. It wasAnything with Adam Sandler , lol .
An homage to Buñuel and Dali’s Un Chien Andalou?Fulci loved eyeballs.
I absolutely agree. Some films are so bad that they are actually “good” and become cult classics, such as Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.
They don’t really bother me (horror junkie, gore in general doesn’t bother me when it’s fake), the first one was actually pretty good, the rest are just stupid.I draw the line with the Saw movies.
Besides parasite (I am yet to see it) I liked these movies lol.Avatar
The Irishman (the movie on Netflix with Robert DeNiro)
A Star Is Born (Lady Gaga)
Parasite
The Hills Have Eyes
I liked all of these films, although Scary Movie was more crude than funny.Star Wars - the longest most painful two hours of my life.
American Sniper - walked out after 20 minutes.
Tron - second worst two hours of my life.
Inception - I woke up when it ended
Scary Movie - I think we walked out after ten minutes
Agreed, awful movie.Human centipede
I really don’t get the hate for this movie, I loved it & the entire trilogy.Back to the future 2
I agree that some movies are so bad that they are “good”, Super Mario Bros is at the top of that list for me, yet Battlefield Earth just isn’t that film for me, once was more than enough IMHO.I thought it was hilarious. I watch it just to laugh and laugh at how cliché and stupid it is. Some films are so bad they are fun to watch.
actually the only Steinbeck movie I loved was Cannery Row. “The great frog roundup” is still one of the funniest scenes ever filmed and the voice over was great.I can appreciate the literary value of some of Steinbeck’s works like “Of Mice and Men”, “The Grapes of Wrath” and “Cannery Row”,
I never saw it all the way through until a couple of years ago. I wasn’t impressed, for the reasons you mentioned.Grease. I saw it as a child and used to love it. I have never purposefully shown my kids. I hate the fact that Sandy pines away hopelessly devotedly for Danny and he treats her terribly. Then she changes herself for him. Bleh! Lorenzo Lamas was a better catch!
