^ Wrong and WAY late.
😊 Oh, gosh, I just figured out the little up arrow sign there referring to the post above. NOW I get your Waiting For Guffman answer. I had no idea which post you were answering. Sorry, I can still be so clueless about the internet…😊

What about this one.

“I never saw a wild thing feel sorry for itself…”

Yes. My mistake. 😊

So let’s start this up again. Here is the next line.

“Klaatu barada nikto”
The Day the Earth Stood Still

Next line:

You can’t fool me! There ain’t no Sanity Claus!

“Klaatu barada nikto” is from Army of Darkness

Next line:

“Why are you wearing that stupid rabbit suit?”

Donnie Darko

*“Klaatu barada nikto” originates from the Cold War-era science fiction film The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951). The phrase was used to stop the robot Gort from destroying the Earth: “Gort! Klaatu barada nikto!” There is no known translation, although “Klaatu” is the name of the humanoid alien protagonist in the film.

In the film Army of Darkness, the third installment of the Evil Dead trilogy, Ash has to speak similar words in order to retrieve the Necronomicon. He fails to remember it properly (“Klaatu. … Verada. … Necktie…Nectar…Nickel…It’s an “N” word, it’s definitely an “N” word”)
*

Next: You can’t fool me! There ain’t no Sanity Claus!

Mr. Carpenter speaking to the robot in THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL…

“Klaatu barada nikto” is from Army of Darkness
While Army of Darkness used that line, it first appeared in the 1950s film The Day the Earth Stood Still. If you watch and listen closely, there are many little spoofs and anachronisms in Army of Darkness, that is what make it a cool movie.

The Incredibles

“How did I escape? With difficulty. How did I plan this moment? With pleasure.”
The Count of Monte Christo?

Try, “Where is the guy I met in the coffee shop…you’ve never had peanut butter before?”

I think so.

“Jenny, God made me for a purpose…but he also made me fast, and when I run, I can feel his pleasure!”
  • Forest Gump*
“Dave, although you took thorough precautions in the pod against my hearing you, I could see your lips move.”

I think so.

“Jenny, God made me for a purpose…but he also made me fast, and when I run, I can feel his pleasure!”
Chariots of Fire.

"They say a man who represents himself has a fool for a client. Well, with God as my witness, I am that fool! "

"They say a man who represents himself has a fool for a client. Well, with God as my witness, I am that fool! "
The Addams Family.

Another one:

“When he found out your daughter’s name is Portia he said, ‘Why would they name her after a car?’”

“Dave, although you took thorough precautions in the pod against my hearing you, I could see your lips move.”
2001: A Space Odyssey

Try:
“You’re gonna regret this the rest of your life–both seconds of it.”
