Here’s the new thread because the original was too long.

Everyone enjoy the New Year and may you be blessed!!!

I’m drinking tea, but have yet to eat anything this morning. Will probably make myself an omelette with hot chili.

No, you’ll need eggs.

So I had my usual marmite on a slice of brown bread because I’m not sure what would happen if I didn’t but also I ate a slice of stollen, which is too good imo.

Yum 😋

Coffee this morning. Oh, and a granola bar last night. I’m trying to change my diet (solid foods that is - I don’t drink alcohol) in an attempt to fit into my 32" pants again! 😉

🤣 😆 😁

That was some spicey omelette!
Now I’m having Butternut Squash soup made with red chili…oh, and Butternut Squash.

A square of Dove Dark Chocolate and some french pressed coffee.

Whew! I reread your post. I thought it said freshly passed coffee. I was worried!

I made a Boston Cream Pie for Christmas (my first one ever) and I just had one of the last few pieces.

It would most accurately be described as closet candy.

Coffee this morning. It is now after 3pm. I should drink some water😮

Chocolate covered almonds from Costco and a glass of water. Chili tonight for dinner! 😋

I’ve seen stollen at Aldi’s for the Christmas holidays.

What does it taste like? It looks like it has the dried candied fruit like fruit cake has in it. Does it taste like a bread? Curious minds want to know…! 😁 😎 😉

It’s a sweet dough with a fruity tasting centre and sprinkled with icing sugar.

Difficult to describe but very satisfying, I can’t think of anything quite like it.

Best eaten fresh because that way it’s soft and pleasantly doughy, maybe cinnamon involved. Nice. Worth a try, I don’t think you’ll find it hard to get rid of!

🙂
