2 coffees and half of a toasted and buttered sesame bagel for me so far today.

What? You don’t top your baked potatoes with granola bars? 😉😄

No, I love to mix it all together in a big heap of chocolatey-potato gloop. Then comes the sour cream and the chocolate-coated bacon.

I have a confession. I’ve had a mouse destroying parts of my house for a few weeks. I set a humane trap and it was tripped several times but no mouse. Last night I awoke again to the sound of it destroying my roof from the inside and had to bang the ceiling several times, which woke me up quite a bit. Today I asked for forgiveness but it had to stop.

Peanut butter is the last thing it ate. Sorry 😞

I had no choice. The last one scraped away the roof so that only the felt on the extension was left, i only discovered by luck because we renewed the ceiling. If someone had trodden on it they would’ve gone straight through and it would have cost hundreds to repair. Also they chewed a cable of my friends recently in another house and can and do sometimes cause house fires. I couldn’t risk that.

I like peanut butter a lot but this may be a cautionary tail. 🐭

It is good stuff. I tried it on my first visit to the UK many years ago. It adds a nice zing to an other wise dull piece of toast. It is not bad on waffles either. 😎
I think it is less salty compared to potato chips/crisps, pretzels, or even dill pickles.
Any health food store sells Brewer’s Yeast tablets as a B vitamin supplement, and this is nothing more than a spreadable version of the same.
I ordered some on Amazon for around $10 for two jars.

Yes. The Wikipedia article described it as very salty, that’s not my experience at all. I don’t respond well to very salty foods and I’ve always enjoyed marmite.

Nice on hot buttered crumpets too Milt!

And perversely maybe, and very wasteful since it uses a lot more marmite in one go than usual but if you use a teaspoonful in boiled water it’s a nice winter drink too. Expensive to do that though, maybe a small cup full and half a teaspoon full.

Having a glass of white wine and eating some Mexican Wedding Cookies that I made over Christmas. They’re also called Russian Tea Cakes. I love them so much 😋 :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: 😋

Too late to be autumn smoke that smell must be coming from a hot oven…mmm

I’ve eaten virtually the same as yesterday, but more bubble and squeak. I like it slightly burnt, I like chilli concarne slightly burnt too. Maybe I should just chew a charcoal stick 😆

I’ve just looked up bubble and squeak and the description is wrong, I have potato and birssel sprouts cooked as usual and then fried in a pan. Nice.
