Smoked cheddar brats, baked beans, potato salad, Brussels sprout cole slaw, fresh tomatoes and mild peppers, grilled eggplant, and a good Canadian brew…pineapple sherbet for dessert.
Pasta cooked in cream with mushrooms. I only wish I had basil leaves, chicken, and grated parmesan to go with it. Tasted so good, but missing so much .
To make up for last nights culinary debauchery, tonight was a mixed green salad with sunflower seeds, cranberries, candies walnuts, and chopped grilled chicken with ranch dressing. Side of linguine with basil pesto topped with fresh shaved Parmesan.
Sunday dinner yesterday was bacon cheeseburgers with hatch green chile, tater tots with cheese and same green chile, and Rocky Ford watermelon. If you’re from this region then you know. This is what summer tastes like.
