I find low carb works for me. And juicing. Freshly made juice is so much better than the stuff in the supermarket.

Keep an eye on calories. And sodium. They’ll sneak up on you and cause the pounds to pile on.

I need to lose weight myself. After recovering from my throat surgery, I started eating things I haven’t had in ages (but no spices). Need to get back in shape. Maybe we can encourage each other.

What is that enchilada casserole recipe? I love tofu.
 
I don’t drink juice - too much sugar.

Here’s the recipe:
Tofu crumbles (one bag)
Low-fat cream of celery soup (you can use cream of mushroom or cream of chicken)
Small can of condensed milk
Enchilada sauce
Salt-free pinto beans (drained)
One cup of shredded cheese (fiesta blend with monterey jack, cheddar, queso, and asadero)
small can of jalapeños (optional)

Mix together. Place in casserole dish and bake uncovered for one hour at 350 degrees.

We eat it with low-salt tortilla chips. (I eat a thin layer - maybe 15; my wife eats a bunch of chips)
You can also top it off with more shredded cheese.

It’s pretty delicious!

A large bottle of cold Cappuccino from Lidl. They only have them 3-4 times per year and I wait for them. 😋

That can be easily exaplained, too much iron in the blood. Do you find you rust easily?

My doctor told me I was overweight, I asked him “compared to what?” He told me compared to the average, I left it there naturally…🙂

Oh, a honey sandwich with just the bare minimum of bread.

Nope. I don’t bathe or shower. 😉

My ideal body weight is around 155-160. I was there about 8 years ago. People told me I looked too gaunt. I just need to lose about 15-20 pounds, and I’ll be satisfied.

I exercise pretty vigorously four to five days a week now. I’ll lose it. It’s just a matter of when. I figure it will take a few months.
 
Date night…hit the Mexican restaurant…
Chips and salsa/pico de gallo, chiles rellenos, rice, charro beans, and a tall Dos Equis Ambar.
 
Brunswick stew and Propel water.

After my blood draw yesterday, I need the energy from something hearty and tasty. It’s nice and warm too.😋
 
I had a pepperoni pizza from Little Caesar’s and a bottle of Mountain Dew.
 
Cheesy chicken and noodle casserole which also contained broccoli, mushrooms, onion and red bell pepper.

Followed by 3 mallomar cookies. 😊

I bought a pepperoni pizza, cheese sticks (free), chicken wings and Sierra Mist from Papa John’s.
 
To eat: a romaine lettuce salad with tomatoes, carrots, cabbage, croutons, and fat free ranch dressing. To drink: water.
