An overpriced croissant and an overpriced shot of espresso.

I made homemade chocolate walnut fudge and ate the goodness sticking to the kettle after the pour. 😋

Slumgullion, a fresh wheat roll, and cranberry juice…butterscotch shortbread for dessert.

Leftover meatloaf on onion rolls and a side of mac & cheese washed down with a Shasta coke.

Lunch at a friend’s house: homemade beef barley soup, rolls, Black Forest cake and coffee. 😋

A Popeye’s chicken sandwich and a coke.

I figured since the initial craze has subsided, I’d give it a try. It’s better than Chick-Fil-A, but not worth waiting hours in line for one, and definitely not worth stabbing someone.

Companionship makes meals soo much better, in my opinion. It’s always more fun to eat with friends.

For breakfast, my usual – two strips of organic bacon (without nitrates), several blueberries, three hard-boiled eggs, my nutritional supplements, bottled water and, for dessert (yes, even at breakfast time), three squares of DARK chocolate.

Hey, life is short. Might as well enjoy it.

Breakfast …tablets with water, how does one live without coffee in the morning…just flat white medium instant. Toasted gluten and diary free bread with peanut butter without added stuff like sugar. Finishing with a pipe of tobacco. I have one cup of coffee a day and one pipe a day…life is short.

My office had their “holiday luncheon” today at a buffet type restaurant. I had salisbury steak, mixed vegetables, macaroni and cheese, a salad with Italian dressing, a piece of bread, and dessert was apple crisp with vanilla ice cream.

This was the same restaurant we went to last year, and the apple crisp was as good as I remembered. 😋

Tuna sub, toasted to melt the cheese, slathered with home made Thai pepper sauce, crab chips, and a sparkling water.
