For our dinner tonight we’re having leftover honey garlic chicken with sticky white rice and egg rolls with sweet and sour sauce.
 
Pepperoni 🍕 pizza, followed by Blue Bell Pecan Pralines ‘n Cream ice cream for dessert 🍨.
 
Hope you feel better.

Whenever I’m sick, I crave either fruits 🍉 like 🍇 or really spicy 🌶️ foods.

I generally want miso soup when I’m ill, and it does make me feel better. Unfortunately I’m out of tofu, and tofu-free miso soup doesn’t exist in my world 😁 Where I live, tofu isn’t something you get in a supermarket and I’m too weak to go to the Asian store.

That said, I’m much better today than I was yesterday. At least I could get out of bed today…

my go-to is freshly brewed tea with an organic honey and a shot of Irish Mist to help me drive out the devil

Beef bone broth. When I was plagued by all those strains of flu last year, that really helped me recover. I feel the difference real quick. I guzzled it. It was better than chicken soup.
 
I should make some of that when I’m healthy and freeze it, because there’s no way I could do so in my current state. Can I use a slow cooker? I’m not crazy about leaving a gas burner on for two days. 🤨
 
My pain is starting to leave. Haven’t had a pain pill yet. Going to try to get through the day without it. But I will take one if I find I need it.

Have had a cup of beef bone broth. Going to get a Bolthouse Farms Mocha Cappuccino or some iced tea. Starting to feel like myself again.
 
You can search Pinterest for slow cooker bone broth.

I’m sure you can make it using the slow cooker.
 
Absolutely use a slow cooker. The best bone broths are those you make yourself. I need to find the recipe I was given for the one that helped me. Still have some in the freezer. Kitchen Basics has a good broth in a pinch.

You’re making me 🤤 here. One of my fav meals.

I’m getting real tired real fast of these liquids. Don’t understand why. I used to go on liquid diets to jumpstart weight loss.

Anyway, I’m getting some more broths together today and hopefully, that’ll help. Also getting some watermelon water together for variety.

This morning, as Mama has her sausage gravy on toast, I am starting my day off with vanilla chai :coffee:. I need flavors.
 
Had a strawberry Greek yogurt. Now finishing off the last of the Russian Caravan tea.
