Thank you. I can use all the prayers I can get. I’m in the 2nd week of a 4 week “liquids only” diet (for lack of a better word). I’m on clear liquids now. And if all goes well, I will be able to progress to “full liquids” for the final two weeks.
 
It’s National Cheeseburger Day. I had a cheeseburger for lunch, along with some “Smartfood” white cheddar popcorn, and my customary iced tea.

Now having some pumpkin spice tea for my afternoon tea.
 
Grrr… on the cheeseburger. I want!!! Seriously, I hope you enjoyed it. I love cheeseburgers.

1 bottle of Boost, 1 large can of green tea with ginseng and honey, and 2 bottles of water.

Am actually noticing some weight loss. Would love to have a BK Whopper and some pizza when I can eat again but may be put on soup first. If I am, I may add cheese to it. I’m really craving cheese.
 
I long for the day I can have solid food again. I want pizza so bad.
John usually makes our pizzas, but we’ve had three of Oprah’s - Supreme, Pepperoni, and Cheese. They were delicious! I liked the Supreme the least, the Cheese the best. The crust that’s 1/3 cauliflower has no cauliflower taste and is delicious.

Where did you get Oprah’s pizzas?

I just had half a bottle of water. To surgeon’s today for follow up.

I usually use almond flour to make the crust which is very good too.

It’s a delicious crust, Milt. Oprah’s might be a little thick for some people who love a thin crust (it’s not overly thick, though), but it is delicious. We bake it on a cookie sheet so the crust does not get too hard.

I had my usual breakfast.

Three tiny bites of mashed potatoes. Dr has put me on full liquid diet and a few solid foods. Very few since there’s a lot I still can’t have.

Also had some Boost, iced tea and water. Get to have cranberry juice now! Yay!!!
 
For our dinner tonight we had leftover oven-roasted beef pot roast with oven-roasted russet potatoes and mushrooms. I served a tossed green salad on the side.
 
Cranberry juice, water, a few bites of mashed potatoes (using baby spoon) and 2 pcs thinly sliced provolone cheese.
 
Salad from the salad bar of the local grocery store: flaked salmon, mixed lettuce, olives, red onions, sunflower seeds, grated cheddar cheese, Ceasar salad dressing, Sparkling Ice black raspberry drink

Trying to cut my intake of starchy carbs
