You must have a huge stew pot…sounds like you’ll be eating that awesome soup until Thanksgiving…

Light breakfast - Greek yogurt, two apples [Holiday, a variety that’s kind of hard to find…], and spiced tomato juice.

A green salad with a light balsamic vinaigrette and some lobster bisque. A Macintosh Apple for dessert.

Haggis*+neeps+tatties + water.

Yes, really! 😋

*Quasi-authentic recipe (made with pork lung instead of the truly authentic sheep lung)

Have you actually tried it?
Look at the emojis again. That’s my reaction to haggis. Don’t like 'em. Don’t ever plan to have 'em again. We used to frequent a restaurant close to where Mama worked at the time. Haggis were on the menu. And being curious and an adventurous eater, I did what I had to do. Not doing that again. 😨

I don’t mind haggis 🙂 I had some in Scotland.
Had pancakes and maple syrup for breakfast but I need another cup of coffee to really get me going now.

I could use some hot coffee, tea or cocoa. Too chilled to make anything tho.

Rain most of the day. It was in the 30s but felt like the 20s. And windy. Days like today are when I wish I didn’t have to go outside to get to the laundry room.

The weather here is nasty today…rain all day, and temperatures at or near freezing…my dog didn’t seem to enjoy our walk this morning…predicting snow tonight…

Greek yogurt, a Stayman winesap apple, and spiced tomato juice.

Everyone around us (county-wise) got snow and/or ice. We didn’t. (YAY!!!) It is still cold and damp.

Been chugging coffee all day. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, hash browns, biscuits, hot cakes and hot coffee.

Lunch is turkey, dressing, gravy, okra, potatoes, squash casserole, biscuits and more coffee.

Mama had a BLT for her lunch.

Good to hear of you eating well (and solids) again @lilypadrees
Thank you, Greenfields.

I’m still in the phase of discovering what I can eat again. Funny thing though, I don’t have the ravenous appetite I had prior to my surgery. I’m making the same portions I made before. But I’m only eating 1/3 to 1/2 the amount and having to save the rest for another meal or two.

Tonight will be coffee and that’s all. Mama is having her lemom meringue pie.

Nasty weather here too.

It seems like we went from summer straight to winter.

No autumn to speak off. What is it with winter usurping autumn?
🤬😤

Winter should be taught its place.

I had eggs, bacon, chips, beans, tomatoes and mushrooms, all fried. All good for the intellect. I like to think.

Tielle sétoise + water.

Look at the emojis again.
Some people have that reaction at the mere thought of haggis. :woman_shrugging:t2:
Yep. And might if they click your link.😱 Very eclectic tastes in food.

I’m having yesterday’s leftovers. Turkey, dressing, squash, potatoes, cranberry sauce and cornbread.

What link? The one to the tielle recipe? That’s far tamer than haggis (to which I posted no link)…
