Thinking of you both, @ConstantLearner, and @lilypadrees. I know what it’s like to keep having upcoming appointments. I have them too, throughout the Summer now, and I wasn’t expecting this to happen, either.
Thank you @oldgraymare2. I hope and pray that, along with Lily and me, all of our troubles will soon be totally resolved. God bless you always.

I love it when you take photos of your food, @TK421. I can eat vicariously and…no calories!
 
For dinner tonight, we’ll be having Buona Beef brand (out of Chicago) Italian beef sandwiches.

It’s already seasoned beef from their kitchens, that you just heat up and serve on your choice of bread.

We bought some of those soft French-type rolls to serve it on. It’s just heat and eat.

We’ll be having some mayo. potato and macaroni salads to go with it, and then some leftover chocolate mousse cake for dessert. 🙂
 
So what pray tell is imitation crab meat made out of, and is it any good?
Whitefish, usually, @Milt, but people like me who are allergic to crab (but not oysters, go figure!) still have to be careful because it’s sometimes flavored with crab! Not always, though. And for those allergic to crab, anchovies contain the same protein!

the brand i buy is made with alaskan pollock with extracts of various crabs. it tastes okay. i like it for flavoring salads.

I made a cheese crisp with mozzarella cheese and spinach, with my own homemade medium-spiced Mexican style salsa. And water.

Girl kitty was trying to climb around this old laptop to get to my plate to see what I was eating, while I was eating the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel that I just made for my breakfast. 😋 😉

She was trouncing across the keyboard while she typed the above gibberish with all of her paws, and turned the CAPS lock key on, too! Silly kitty! ❤️
 
Sunday brunch…Greek yogurt, a bran muffin, a sausage sandwich, and tomato juice.
 
Pork chops, corn bread stuffing, peas, and a tossed salad with 1000 island dressing.
 
Chicken caesar salad, chicken noodle soup, a baguette, and unsweetened iced tea at Panera.
