About to have coffee before going out and raking up leaves for the compost.I’ll probably have roast veggies and a stew tonight.
Milt,I cut that Queensland Blue pumpkin and it’s just beautiful 😃 I’m feeling really chuffed as the other bush pumpkins were bland and I fed them to the ducks…but this one is both nutty and sweet and delishious roasted and should make lovely pumpkin soup.And I might have a go at pumpkin scones:) I used duck fat once,believe it or not,and they worked out super .
 
Have you tried making pumpkin pie? Recipes are available online.

I have also read that duck fat is good for you.

No! 🙂 That’s an amazing colour!
The kids and I used to measure the pumpkin runner growth each day …
I imagine everything would grow rapidly where you live with the warmth and good moisture.

I had some Hershey’s Miniatures with some cold bottled water to drink.
