Fresh blueberry muffin and a glass of water…

Trying to diet, but what’s a man to do when blueberry season is in?
 
A while back I did the 6 raspberry and 53 blueberry meal. Only took 15 minutes or so.
 
As much as I love me some pancakes I am reduced to enjoying them in my morning yogurt…I usually sprinkle bee pollen and some granola in also…l wish they were fresh all season, the “imported store bought” blueberries aren’t quite the same as a quick visit to the ol’ boo’berry bush next to the garden…

My mom made some muffins tonight though as I was lamenting how much I like and missed having them…90 years old and still more active than most folks I know…I am so blessed to still be able to enjoy such things…

It will be worth a little extra workout time at the gym…

Say a prayer for all our moms and to Mother Mary on that note…😎
 
For our dinner I made a chicken and stuffing casserole.

I’ve been drinking bottled water.

I had a blueberry muffin and a pot of tea at a cafe this morning ,later some white fish with lobster flavouring (from the super market 🙂 )

Roasted vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, meatloaf with gravy. Diet caffeine free Pepsi.

One slice Bakewell tart
 
Couscous with curried vegetables - cauliflower, green beans, carrots - topped with a little sliced almonds
Whole wheat pita bread

Green chile pepper & cheese tamales.

Blueberry, banana, avocado, and beet smoothie (you can buy these pre-assorted at Wal Mart)
 
Did some out-of-town shopping…went to a Mexican restaurant there…

Chips and salsa/pico de gallo, carnitas, rice, charro beans, and wheat tortillas, anda Dos Equis Ambar draft. I’ve never seen two restaurants with the same recipe for charro beans…here, they had pinto beans, bacon, a little ham, and onion, topped with queso. and served on the entree platter, rather than in a small bowl.
 
Western omelette, toast, grits, homestyle potatoes for breakfast.

BLT and fries for lunch. Water to drink both meals.
 
A soggy BLT. (Waiting on tech to return to finish the job started earlier.)
