Yes! You speak English well! Ha ha. Would you say bacon buddy though?
We also say “use your loaf!” Meaning think about it and use common sense.
Do you know that one?

Yes

I read a lot so colloquial speech, both American and British are familiar to me.

What I am unfamiliar with is Australian and New Zealand colloquialisms.

Well, there’s roseeurekacross and green fields who would help with those ill bet, bonza. Gday.

My oldest friend of eighty six is a kiwi, he was a bit croc last year but he’s fine now.

I know nothing!

There’s lots of Kiwis and Aussies living in Hawaii.

I went to the local pub where I now currently live and the bartender was from Australia.

You live in a pub? 😉

There are many Australians in London. I stayed in a house where about twenty of them lived once, we played charades in the evening. They liked me so I survived. Ha ha.

I wish. They have the best pizzas.

Actually I meant the pub in the town I live in.

But you knew that.

I confess to not understanding that saying, sweet as bro.

However I have some adequate Google fu techniques.

Sweet as bro means awesome right?

Yeah pretty much

It means that’s ok or awesome or choice you will learn

Bro is pretty much a male person although my cousin calls me bro

Not bad, we had a bazaar at church yesterday and raised a good amount. Everyone was happy. Then mass which I like of course and wine afterwards!

Today I’ve felt a bit crook (I said croc, that’s wrong) bit of a cold I think but a sunny day.
How are things up there? (In space there is no right way up.)

We had a lovely weekend spent heaps of time with my boys ( miss nearly 15 was at her nanas ) although it appears since turning 29 on Saturday I’ve started miss placing things either that or the kids are hiding things to make me feel old

Happy belated birthday wishes 🎂 :clinking_glasses:🍾 yay! 🙂

(Lack of concentration probably, nothing to worry about.)

Yeah there’s that too. But I wouldn’t usually leave my phone in the fridge. Its normally on the table

I left my kitten in the fridge once.

I opened the fridge and took out a head of lettuce.

Closed it and resumed preparing dinner.

Opened it again and there was the kitten amongst the beer.

Didn’t even know he was missing.

He survived, grew up to be a 25 pounder.
