I have already mailed PELOSI’S (and she has him right where she wants him) Rev. George H. Niederauer my take on his “follow your conscience” letter. If you see anyone being roasted at a pole in the next few weeks, that will probably be me. I am sure Niederauer has a LOT of inside pull, or he would have been chastized by now.
I think the one to correct him iwould be his predecessor, Bishop Lavada, in his new job at the Vatican. I also suspect that Bishop Lavada was a strong influence on him getting the San Francisco assignment.

Gee, do you think they sell asbestos underpants on ebay?

What is Biship Levada’s take on his protege, do you know? Or at least what is his stance on Church direction? Does he slither out of the truth too?

Now THAT is a good thought! Wonder how high they would come? You will probably get an invitation to the banquet. Thanks for thinking of me.
I’ll probably be on an adjacent pole–I was thinking of getting a pair for myself!😃

My parish is in the archdiocese of San Francisco. Fortunately we are a pretty orthodox lot.

I’ve participated in the Walk For Life the last several years in SF. It’s heartening to see all these people from all over Calif and the west coast marching through the streets of SF. It’s also encouraging to see the relatively small groups on the sidelines opposing us. (There may not be crowds of them but they sure are hateful.)

I ask west coast readers (and those from farther away who have the means) to consider coming to SF for the January 24, 2009 Walk for Life West Coast.

See walkforlifewc.com/

If you are coming from a distance, try staying outside of SF–I certainly don’t want them to have “tourist” dollars. Or, perhaps by contacting the folks at the above weblink you can secure a place to stay in the city in a Catholic school gym.

Just wanted all to know that, even though Nancy Pelosi is my elected representative, she does not speak for me. There are a lot of faithful Catholics in the archdiocese of SF. 🙂
Just as in many other instances with which I don’t have direct interaction, I usually “assume” the worst. ie. “There are no Catholics in SFO with a right conscience”. Glad to hear from you and thanks for proving me wrong. 👍
