Nancy Pelosi Says there Should Be no Debates

The debates don’t have the importance they once did. In 2016, the general consensus is that Clinton handily won two of three debates, yet she lost the Electoral College. With the apparent decline in Trump’s cognitive ability (as pointed out by the Lincoln Project among others), he won’t be able to legitimately “debate” any of the issues, and we’ll be relegated to his word salad answers at their most base level.

Shame on her. She is lying. It isn’t that she doesn’t want people to associate or debate Trump, she does not want the public to hear the pro life, positive, American message of President Trump.

As she said at the convention, it is about Roe v Wade and the empowerment of women.

By her comments, she still doesn’t appear to recognize him as president.

Every time she says something I move farther and farther away from that side of politics. She continues to reveal the diabolical behind the progressive movement.

So? Don’t watch then. I don’t see any value in 99% of what is on TV, but there it is. Someone else seems to like it.

I am content to let them debate and let the voters who tune in decide whose cognitive ability has diminished, or who they want to vote for. Freedom is a great thing.

Quite the opposite my dear Watson. It is Elementary.
Yes, it is elementary when she speaks.

That depends on how you look at it. Does she not want debates because she doesn’t think Biden can handle it or because she doesn’t think anyone should talk to President Trump. So perhaps she is speaking truth but speaking it with her own deceptive words. Maybe it is both but I believe she knows Mr. Biden can’t handle and not talking to the president is just an excuse.

That video clip from CNN only shows him saying he isn’t choosing to be somber and dull. No big deal. Other presidents in the past have been pretty charismatic in their own way also.

We shall see. October can’t come soon enough.

Joe Biden has had difficulty communicating at times this election go around. He’s made many odd gaffs too. I and as others have mentioned, suspect he has dementia a common condition with the elderly. I’m not surprised a bit that Pelosi would not want Biden to be on a national stage in a debate with the communication mistakes Joe has made. If Joe should tumble in a debate, being forgetful and what not, it’s likely some voters would question his health and with that ability to be President.

There is the problem of course of calling off the debates. That would have many also viewing Biden of trying to hide something, of being mentally unfit to be President due to poor health.

Presidential debates are a good thing. If there was one skill that many, many millennials don’t have is the ability to engage in a debate without trying to shout down the other person, get in their face, throw a brick, or just try to cancel the event altogether.

Lets have the debate…don’t make cancelling the new normal

That pretty much sums up the debates as well. They are nothing more than talking points. But it’s good to watch the candidates in action.

A presidential candidate should get up and defend his positions. A debate is one of the few times they get forced to answer questions they normally avoid.
