A handful of Roman Catholic convents are contradicting the decades-long slide in the number of women choosing to devote their lives to the sisterhood. And at least two of them are doing it by sticking to tradition, including the wearing of habits.
Praise be to God, through the workings of the Holy Spirit. Increasing vocations to religious life are the answer to millions and millions of prayers by faithful Catholics everywhere. I agree that Pope John Paul II had a marvelous impact on our youth particularly. The witness given to society by the religious habit is a beautiful sharing of faith in a visual sense. A suprisingly good, unbiased newspaper article through the AP, too!
