Maybe if they hadn’t tried to barge in the way they did, scaring people, sure. People who were no doubt already on edge.
But no, the Catholic Mass is not the place for pagan chanting, no matter how nice one thinks it sounds.
They’re always welcome to come to Mass, with respect and reverence. They’re welcome to enroll in RCIA, too.

If the kid had looked serious the haters would have been all over him for not smiling. If he would have backed away, they would have condemned him for that.

Barge in or not, it is we or are guests in their own sacred land… The least we could do is to show our humility even to our “enemies.” It is the only way to fight the battle against pride of the devil…

We could have let God show his might wrath or love to them… Isn’t God present all the time in His own Church? Even if it is not during mass, we could have and still could do this with our Catholic leaders to invite them with the Catholic students to iron out differences, to create a sense of unity in our divisive country as a gesture of humility. We are Christians, followers of Jesus. This is the Way.

hmmmm… not even Bethlehem or the whole Jerusalem? I thought the whole God’s creation is sacred, human beings, land or things…

Where is that? On the Potomac. Nathan Phillips descends from the Omaha tribe, a midwest tribe. How is Washington his sacred ground?

The whole Americas is their sacred land according to their beliefs, I guess, that is how I understand it… Or maybe just my own belief 😀 I treat all of God’s creations as sacred, human beings, land or things… 😀

As far as Bethlehem and Jerusalem, I’m sure all the holy sites were consecrated by Catholic priests almost a thousand years ago. After the Crusaders finished defeating and expelling the Moslems. They would surely have thought of that.

I think the accusation is that there is a double standard when there is a question of following a political agenda. this person has an agenda and those young men are pawns in that agenda.

It’s amazing that people are still defending that High School Kid when there are multiple videos that show the exact same thing, namely him inches away from Nathan Phillips with that smug, annoying grin on his face. He knew what he was doing.
