Nearly 1,000 Anglicans converting to Catholicism

My mother in-law is a Catholic and she went to an Anglican mass by mistake. At the end she had no idea. I haven’t heard of many who can tell these two faiths apart just looking at them.

After the reform changes in the Catholic Mass in 1969, this was true of Lutherans and Episcopalians as well. The big difference, of course, is that they aren’t any women bishops or priests in the Catholic Church.

I know that many AngloCatholics have wanted to be in union with pope for years. This is a real blessing for our Pople Benedict to organize an Ordinariate that both parties are happy with. My prayers are with all those how desire to convert.
 
That’s at least 50% of weekly mass-goers in the CoE, right there. 😃

Think of two overlapping–but not mutually inclusive–spectra: one slightly broader than the other at the top, the other slightly broader than the other at the bottom. When you’re at the ‘bottom’ part, you know which church you’re in. Trust me. 😉
